Alrighty, I am going to Northampton Mass next week either on Tuesday or Thursday for the day. This trip is specifically to get into Northampton State Hospital. Anyone interested in going? I usually go alone, but, that is always risky because of possible mishaps.
So, anyone interested email me or post here and we can work out details.

you are free to walk the grounds, the construction workers may have a problem but they can't do anything if you're just walking the grounds. i've been there twice in the past week. if you do have intentions of going in the buildings be way careful, there are asbestos and cancer warnings. most of the floors are gone. and there are fences everywhere blocking a lot of the places.
but you probably already knew this.

abandoned buildings, esp. noho state & danvers state are my fave.
getting into the main complex/main buildings might be hard with the fences.
